Hey there!
My name is Allison von Hausen and I’m an actor and producer living between Los Angeles and the San Francisco Bay Area.
After acting as a child, I was told to “grow up and do something realistic.” So I did – spending nearly 10 years working for Apple in finance, merchandising, and project management. I learned to drive projects, communicate with others, and build strong relationships.
Since beginning my freelance producing career in 2020, I have:
- Produced various short films and industrials, including:
- Scattered, launching with Universal-backed streaming service CPics in 2023
- Stain Resistant, which premiered at the WOC Filmmakers Lab in Pasadena, CA in 2022
- Get Inclusive’s Alcohol and Other Drugs Student Wellness Training, sold to universities across the United States
- Helped producers and directors by creating and collaborating on budgets and pitches for $250k – $1m features
- Acted as the Unit Production Manager in Dark Feathers for the SF-portion of the shoot (my first feature on the production side)
- Working as a Development Coordination for Oscar-winning producer Chris Donahue pitching several film and television projects
- Completed a postgraduate Producing Certificate at UCLA

Current Projects
Scattered – Producer – Awaiting Streaming Premiere
After the unexpected loss of her father, Priya returns home to her estranged mother where the two struggle to reconcile their different views on grief, mental health, and LGBT+ relationships driven by both a generational and cultural divide.
We filmed Scattered in the Bay Area with a team of local filmmakers, cast, and crew – all of whom identify as women, BIPOC, LGBTQ+, or a combination of the three. Supported by the likes of Bollywood superstar Omi Vaidya, Scattered tackles complicated issues like mental health, LGBT+ relationships, and the South-Asian American immigrant experience.

Scattered completed the festival circuit and will soon premiere on Cpics.tv in 2023.

Stain Resistant – Producer – Film Festival Circuit
Sunny (40s), a homemaker in Silicon Valley, meets with her estranged best friend, Tara (40s), a journalist in New York. The two haven’t spoken since Tara’s last visit to Sunny’s home, nearly a decade ago. Amidst breaking news of a sting operation involving Sunny’s husband, both reveal the truth about their unspoken traumas. Drawing strength from one another, both resolve to bury their guilt and break their silence.
